U2 - With or Without You
This is just the coolest way to visualize this song. Two people alone in bed, earnestly discussing the love for each other. Bono could not have better demonstrated the true feelings behind this song.
You Can't Tell Zach Nothin'!
So Zach Galifianakis was approached by Kanye West. He asked him to so a parody video of his new single. Zach was hanging out at his farm with his friend Will Oldham and decided to shoot it right there!
Darin VS Monkey Beach
My brother Darin in Thailand trying to make land on Monkey Beach and incurring the wrath of the monkeys!
Kalluri Vaanil
The song "Kalluri Vaanil" by Prubhu Deva, which seems to be actually popular in India. Watch how the clip gets weirder and weirder as it reaches its end. Nothing beats great Indian choreography! From what I can tell there are two gangs, one women and the other men. And they are ready to break it down!
Meet Tay Zonday

The Bionic Women - Return of the Bigfoot
They just don't make them like this anymore! And to think, we have the bionic women returning to TV this fall!
Daft Punk
I have always been a fan of Daft Punk. This video is a good reason why I love them. This is "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger".
Mos Def
This was just too cool. Mos Def is awesome!
Hip hop, rap and spoken word artist Mos Def reads Malcolm X's "Message to the Grass Roots" on November 9, 2006. Part of a reading from Voices of a People's History of the United States.
Songkran
My brother Darin, who lives in Thailand, has now experienced, Songkran, The Thai New Year (Thai: สงกรานต์ Songkran) is celebrated every year on 13 April to 15 April. It is also celebrated in Laos (called Songkan in Lao), Cambodia, Myanmar (Burma where it is called Thingyan), and by ethnic Dai in Yunnan, China. Sri Lanka also celebrates a similar festival called Sinhalese and Tamil New Year on the same dates.
The most obvious celebration of Songkran is the throwing of water. People roam the streets with bowls of water, water guns or even a garden hose, and drench each other and passersby. This, however, is not the heart of this festival. Not many people, even the new generation of Thais, realize that Thai ancestors started this festival to teach their descendants some important things. This festival teaches people to come home to visit their parents, pay respect to them, and usually bring them a small gift. Mother and Father have given to their children so much, and this is the time that children show them that they recognize their parents' favor. People also visit their older neighbors to keep the good relationships and to pay respect to the elders around the neighborhood. For these reasons Songkran days are also considered the family days and the elderly days.
The Villages of Northern Thailand
Whether it is learning about one shoe or two shoes, eating cooked python, exploring waterfalls and cliffside temples, introducing the IPOD to curious minds and rooster wake up calls, it is all in a three days work for Darin.
My Brother Darin's New House.... in Thailand!
My brother is living over in Thailand. He recently found a nice little place to call his own while he is there. Chickens, jungles rivers, cemeteries and crazy plumbing jobs. Ahhhhh home!
Eddie Van Halen's Eruption Solo
Nothing says Eddie Van Halen like some smoking licks off the guitar and matching overalls!
State of the Union Address
I never new that his addresses were this much fun! I am going to start watching them!
Bruce Willis - The Japanese Version
Does this mean that potentially there are hundreds of undiscovered "Bruce Willis's" out there? I can only hope so...
Europe - Cherokee
Music-wise, Cherokee is epic, but can someone please tell us why a Swedish hair-metal band decided to sing about the forced relocation of Native Americans in the 1830s? This would be like Panic! At the Disco writing a song about the shameful evils of the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882.
The Bangsak Project
This video details the Tsunami reconstruction efforts and progress in Ban Bang Sak, Thailand.

She's A Little Runaway
Before there was Bon Jovi, there was Jon Bon Giovi and these guys.
In 1983, Bon Jovi visited the local radio station WAPP 103.5FM "The Apple" in Lake Success, New York. He spoke directly to the D.J., Chip Hobart, who suggested Bon Jovi let WAPP include the song "Runaway" on a compilation album of local homegrown talent. Bon Jovi was reluctant but eventually gave them the song on which Bon Jovi had used studio musicians to play on the track "Runaway" (which was written in 1980). The studio musicians who helped record "Runaway" were known as "The All Star Review." They were:
David Michael Sabo, nicknamed "The Snake," is a rock guitarist who plays in the heavy metal band Skid Row.
Tim Pierce is a Los Angeles-based session guitarist who has appeared on hundreds of music albums and motion picture soundtracks. Pierce is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. His credits include work with Rick Springfield, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Toy Matinee, Meat Loaf, Phil Collins, Goo Goo Dolls, Christina Aguilera, Faith Hill, Tracy Chapman, Aly & AJ, and many other artists. He also released one solo album, Guitarland, in 1995.
Roy Bittan has played on several dozen albums, not only for Springsteen but also David Bowie, Jackson Browne, Tracy Chapman, Chicago, Catie Curtis, Dire Straits, Peter Gabriel, Meat Loaf, Stevie Nicks, Bob Seger, Patty Smyth, Jim Steinman, and Bonnie Tyler.
Frankie LaRocka (b. c 1954 - d. 11 May 2005) was a notable musician and producer. He was a member of Scandal and at various stages played the drums with Bon Jovi, David Johansen, Bryan Adams and John Waite. In the 1990's, he became an A&R man and producer with his most notable work being with the Spin Doctors on their breakthrough album A Pocketful of Kryptonite. He played drums on Bon Jovi's first album.
Hugh McDonald (born December 28, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a session musician and bassist. He has played with many artists both live and in the studio, and has recorded with Willie Nelson, Steve Goodman, Ringo Starr, Bon Jovi, Lita Ford, Michael Bolton, Cher, Alice Cooper, Jon Bon Jovi, Ricky Martin, and others. He is currently working with Bon Jovi, but is regarded as an 'unofficial' member of Bon Jovi. Although he gets to play his bass lines live on tour, McDonald is left out of publicity shoots and album covers. Band members say they agreed never to officially replace former bass player Alec John Such.
Synthesizer Medley 1985
I really don't know what to say about this except... dang that is a lot of keyboards!
6 Drummers, 1 Apartment
This is so cool. I couldn't quit watching! Now you know what happens to your apartment when you leave for work during the day!
MacGruber
We all remember MacGyver, but does anyone remember his brother MacGruber?!
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Tool - The Making of Undertow
Ok, someone has posted the coolest set of videos from around 1991 or so of Tool recording their big label debut Undertow. I haven never seen such a cool behind the making video in my entire life. There are three parts the best is part 2 where they destroy a piano with a shotgun and pick axes. If you know the album you will recognize the sound it makes! That album was a classic, and these video's shows you genius in the making. Thanks to my friend Nathan for sending this to me!
Tarantino and Rodriguez's Grindhouse Feature
If this isn't the coolest trailer you have ever seen then I don't know what is! I cannot wait to see this movie (movies)!
The Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty
This is The Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty. You may recognize the singer as a very young Maynard James Keenan. He would soon move from Austin to LA and start the band we all know as Tool! Listen closely and you just might recognize an early incarnation of a very popular song.
